Review Stages
-
Initial Editorial Screening
The Editor conducts an initial assessment to determine the manuscript’s compliance with the focus and scope of JADEN, adherence to the author guidelines and manuscript template, and originality verification using reputable plagiarism detection tools. Manuscripts failing to meet the basic requirements may be desk-rejected or returned for preliminary revision.
-
Assignment to Reviewers (Double-Blind)
Manuscripts passing the initial screening are assigned to at least two (2) anonymous reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Identities of both authors and reviewers remain concealed throughout the process.
-
Review Feedback & Author Revision
Reviewer comments and recommendations are conveyed to the authors by the editorial board for follow-up. Authors are expected to revise the manuscript according to the feedback provided and submit a revised version accompanied by a detailed response-to-reviewers document.
-
Editorial Decision
Upon submission of the revised manuscript, the Editor—taking into account the reviewers’ recommendations—issues a final editorial decision. Additional review rounds may be initiated if necessary to ensure the manuscript’s scientific quality.
-
Copyediting & Production
Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, proofreading, and layout editing to ensure style consistency, language clarity, reference accuracy, and readiness for publication.
